- Where do I find an application? Click the link above labeled Applications.

- Is it possible to arrive early or depart later than the posted dates? Unfortunately, no. Dorm space on campus is limited and we are only able to reserve rooms for the dates posted for our programs. We can suggest local hotels but thats the best we can do.

- When is the deadline for submitting an admissions application? There really isn't a deadline any longer since we fill up every year. We will accept applications under our programs are full. We encourage you to apply as early as possible.

- When is the deadline for submitting a scholarship deadline? You can submit a scholarship application as long as we are still accepting admissions applications.

- When and Where do I check in? You can begin checking into the dorm anytime after 8am on the day your program is scheduled to begin. Registration will be from 3pm to 5pm in Welch Hall. Your orientation meeting will be at 6pm followed by your first lab meeting. If you will be arriving late please send us an email with your approximate arrival time. Please make every attempt to plan your travel so you can attend the 6pm meeting.

- Which airport should I fly into? Fly to the Spokane International Airport.

- How do I get to campus?  The GDI does not offer shuttle service from the airport. However, there are number of inexpensive options for travelling to campus. Visit the airport ground transportation page for more information on shuttle and cab options.

- How do I get to the airport on July 27th when I go home? The GDI will arrange a charter bus service to shuttle students to the airport on July 27th.  You will have the opportunity to sign up for that bus at registration. The cost is $5 and can be paid at registration.

- What should I expect with the meal plan? Most meals are served in the GU dining facilities operated in The COG. These meals are "all you can eat".  Meal times will be explained at orientation. Your meal plan begins with dinner on the night you arrive and ends with breakfast on July 27th.

- Can I request a specific partner and/or roommate? Yes. There is a space on the application for you to make those requests?

-Can I request a specific lab leader? Sort of. If the lab leader you requested is working in the program you selected we will make every attempt to honor your request. The earlier you get a request in the more likely it is that we can honor it.

-If I want to room someone from another program is that allowed? Only if those programs are the same length of time (i.e. 5, 4, or 2 weeks).

-When is final payment due? Your payment date will be noted on your invoice.

-If have never debated in the varsity/open division at a tournament do I have a chance at getting in the Scholars Program? No.

Does the dorms provide linens. Yes. Sheets/pillowcases/light blankets are all provided.
